Weaknesses in apps
-
People seem to be missing the point of these, which is to make an interesting story and not some place to mention your dumpstat or something you dislike.
"Joe dislikes gnomes" is not a weakness. Even worse "Joe is a Banite, he dislikes Tormites" is definately not a weakness. "Bob the wizard is not very strong" is not a weakness either, that's just telling me you dumped STR on character selection. Same with "Joe is a tiefling and so people don't like him".
A weakness is "Doomlord McDoom is a monstrous villain, however he has sworn an oath never to attack an unarmed foe."
Or
"Werewolf Wolfy is a brutal killer, but because his parents were killed in a fire he is terrified of it. He will never go close to a large fire"
Or
"Gary the guard is a strong and handsome fellow, however he is also a huge coward. He easily gives in to threats and blackmail"
Or
"Larry the sorcerer is gifted and powerful, however he often forgets important things he has to do and writes them down. Even worse, he occasionally loses the notes."
All of these lead to stories which are actually interesting. They allow a level one character to beat a level 10 werewolf using only a torch because he was smart enough to learn about his enemy. It lets a goodly social stat orientated bard remain safe from a blackguard because he left his weapons at home. It lets a villain push his agenda with blackmail rather than having to just PK everyone. It lets some clueless player get on a plot because Larry wrote down essential details and left them on the street.
This is the stuff that will get your application approved because it's fun for everyone else.

The best weakness is:
"Deadlock is a fun DM, but trolls me and keeps editting my posts. Plus he is super awesome."
