Yesterday's PvP and Deaths
Folks that were involved in yesterday's PvP event that led to several characters being killed - The team has talked over the issue and decided that nothing will be retconned, but no-permadeath will be enforced as is the case with any PvP death. You are welcome to respawn or be raised as normal.
We will change the "brown" Penal Legion NPCs to blue and ensure they are in an appropriate area. Realistically the Penal Legion NPCs should react to PvP involving the militia, and so this will be changed to prevent future PvP confusion.
To explain this further.
The penal legionaires will be moved inside the Citadel area, and will be blue NPCs.
We might also make it so there is no gate on the old town side, because… people like to play the openy closey game with it, as it's fun or something.

Can you fix the cat AI then too? For some reason, it always likes to walk from North Arabel to Old Town.
Same goes with Kraliqh. He starts at this desk, then wanders over to the Thayans and camps there.

Yeah, not the right place!
I hadn't even looked at old town for ages, and entierly forgot how it was now split into north arabel and old town.
Another solution will be implemented as soon as I can.
But don't worry, it should involve ramparts, balista, and catapults.
So hopefully I can be forgiven.
