Seeings the bulletin board post about investigatig Tilvrton
      /forum/viewtopic.php?t=127523
      puts me in a quandry.

DMs have suggested that when characters get to a certain age, its perhaps time to move on… yet... when one sees a post like that... and you have characters with that knowledge... do you dredge them up?
      or not?

It seems somewhat unfair to dredge up ancient stuff like this, that will almost certainly be twisted and warped, when those characters with knowledge are somewhat discouraged from playing.

      thoughts? comments?

As one who is in this plot, but without characters with IC or any OOC historical knowledge, I find it facinating working through rumours, prejudice, false trails and twisted facts. I'm loving it. Please don't, for the love of the Faerian Gods, bring accurate truth into this mess! You'll mess it up!

Having said that, If you did bring a character in with real IC knowledge, who'd believe them anyway?

Play characters you have, its best not bring in some PC just for one plot or reason. A few people from that time are still around and have been consistently, so leave it be and play whatever you're playing now.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

          NO SPITTING.

          DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.

            Write books.
Donate your diary to the library.

If Chuck Norris had performed in 300, the film would be called 1.

Construct a giant screaming statue of yourself out of the souls of Dark Elves that constantly screams your life story in the middle of the market.

I have bad days. If I'm not being nice and friendly check back tomorrow.
