IRC is a great tool for us all. Lets us keep in contact, relax and chat with friends and helps us communicate ideas and concepts. We are a community and as such communication is a key to keeping us together.

However, when I hear about bad behaviour such as trolling some one to the point of forcing them off the channel or reducing their enjoyment of our community then I have to say that some people do not understand how to behave in a community.

We all kid around from time to time and some light hearted joking is fine, but you need to know when to stop. Some times enough is enough and you need to know this. Those that don't seem to understand this will quickly find themselves permanently banned from our IRC channels at the very least.

If I hear about any one being driven away from our community by the bad ooc behaviour of others there will be severe repercussions.

Bumping this. Playful banter or "trolling" is one thing, but crossing the line into malicious, rude, spiteful, or bitter comments is a no no, and will result in being banned from #Coa.
