I was just wondering if anyone knew if the fishing mechanic was still in the game. Getting a fishing pole and bait, plus casting the line at fishing spots still work, but I'm not sure how fishing works, so I'm unsure if my not having caught anything was because of a failing a fishing in general or if the mechanic for catching fish is gone. Just curious, and I have no idea where else to look, so if it's posted somewhere, I'm sorry for….clutter, I guess.

      Thanks, guys.

        It's still in there.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

        NO SPITTING.

        DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.

Don' forget to keep saying: "Here fishy, fishy, fishy, FISHYYYYY!

"People who have no hopes are easy to control"

"I am the servant, of the power behind The Nothing. I was sent to kill the only one, who could've stopped The Nothing, I lost him in the Swamps of Sadness. His name, was Atreyu!"

            Cool, thanks a bunch.

Hehehe, I'll try to remember to do that.

Um, is it based on a skill check or more of a random roll?

It is based on your secret luck modifier that you can't see.

              Snowball fight! Goooooooooo!

Its based on a combination of skills and abilities and classes. The best fishermen will obviously be druids and rangers for example. Wise patient people will be better fishermen than those who are not.

Then there are some bonus features to fishing, but I don't think many players have fully explored what all is there.

Mosquitos biting at your neck is hardly a bonus.
