Alternative COA settings?

The Witcher is a cool fantasy setting, but imagine all the apps to be a Witcher!
-
We need a setting with Yordles imo
-
Westeros. That would be awesome.
-
Westgate or somewhere in Sembia – Maybe a fringe Sembian settlement not so racist against Elves.
-
I think waterdeep or Skullport would be awesome to play in.
Undermountain!
I second this. Waterdeep is so diverse. The city can support lots of cultures, races, classes, and alignments. The citizens, merchants, and nobility of the city above can plot against each other. If Skullport were included, the cut-throats, monsters, and thieves could plot against the city above. Plus, Undermountain would be perfect for players who prefer more of an adventuring style of play!

There's also an underwater city nearby for all your aquatic needs :)

Yes! I vote for a special Undermountain CoA with a huge dungeon of loot, dangerous traps and monsters, in a free-for-all server wide event. Survive and come out with mad riches, while death means white-light. With Moloch and the DMs as the mad mage Halaster and his apprentices orchestrating it all! I'd do it.

How bout post apocalyptic undermountain, Where waterdeep is now a dangerous place full of monsters and zombies. Skullport became the last true haven because it was secluded from the apocalypse.
-
The Sword Coast.
Dragonlance sucks.
-
A vote for Dragonlance is a vote for kender and gnomesthattalklikethis.
-
A vote for Dragonlance is a vote for a richly developed world that's been untouched and unchanged by the monsters known as WotC. Not to mention taking the wizards test would be BAD ASS.
However, I don't think DL would be good for NWN.
-
Isn't dragonlance the setting for the books about that moustached homoerotic fighter who looks abit of a cocktease?
-
If you are referring to Sturm, the story isn't really about him. In fact, spoilers spoilers spoilers, read the books.
-
WoD.
-
Oooor Fallout style.

+1

Fallout and World of Darkness. Both brilliant choices.
I could also see a CoA style Heroic Mortals setting in Exalted… That could be really exciting.

I have played on DL servers and the test would require a DM which would probably be a good thing cause you app and work IC for it. On the servers that aren't app, the test is quite literally get a higher PC from the Tower to come in and ask you 2 questions, spawn a monster to fight, and your in. If you die you retry.
