Kinect!

@Ol'n'Creepy:
Someone tell me what kinetic is.
It's a prelude to the eventual realization of Tad Williams' Otherland.
-
The flaw with Kinect is it does not have a dedicated processor which makes it us one of the four processors the 360 has.
So with Kinect the console is only running on 3 cores instead of 4 cores, which reduces the quality of the game.
-
That's not true Zyla. Kinect uses extremely little processing power.
-
The space requirements can be tricky as well, it's pretty decent but needs a lot of space to work properly

Someone tell me what kinetic is. Didn't have those back in my days.
Its like the sony eyetoy.
The tech is nice and all but it doesnt lend itself to fun games, unless your idea of fun is waving your arms around while an onrails character catches bubbles or you can play a loveless rip off of wii sports or even 'dancing on the spot'. Its not possible to move forward in game using the peripheral and for driving games changing gears and controling speed is going to be a problem since it requires both hands to be on the imaginary steering wheel to read what your trying to do, Ive used it at a friends house and for about 5 minutes its fun but to be honest the games arent there yet and imo it could go the same way as the sega activator.
