Dragon age 2!!!!!!

I loved DAO, and have loaded part 2, some of the extra missions and whatnot, but I tend to take a much slower pace than most. I've only just recently finished DAO with one character – took me about 9 months.
Of course, gaming is probably #20 on my "to do list" each day and I spend 90% of it on COA...so yeah.

You know, the difference that I see between DAO 1 and this, is that DAO 1 at least did not make the "Guy in the trailer" look like an european copy of some Final Fantasy Anime character. I am not impressed, as of yet.

is it too much to ask to remove the whole WoW/GuildWars/MMO abilty cool down crap that has infect every rpg recently like a viral cancer?

@Bolthor:
Considering DA1 was a dumbed down game SINGLE player game made for kids that can't pay for WoW (or got tired of it) makes it VERY unlikely that I will buy this.
It is really a shame…considering what it could have been.
Welcome mainstream! Kids taking over...we're getting old...
Wow. Just wow. You obviously don't understand RPG sub-genres whatsoever. Dragon Age was quite good, whilst World of Warcraft is another run of the mill garbage MMO. I'm curious to know what you think the spiritual successor of Baldur's Gate 2 "could have been". Because it lived up to it damned well. I hope you don't say multiplayer. Dragonage wasn't meant to have multiplayer.
Wait, Dragon Age was the spiritual successor of Baldur's Gate II? Because - not to derail this thread - Baldur's Gate II is one of my favorite games of all time. I still go back, sometimes, and play through it. I never really finish - only finished once - but still, Luri and I LAN'd that game to death.
Are you saying that Dragon Age is GOOD ENUF? Because if so, I might have to try it. . . >_>;

Amen…I'd like to see something new and fresh for a change I have hopes for the knights of the old republic MMO. But I am not holding my breath

Dragon age is Dragon age, its not the same world or series so why bother comparing it to a game as old as baldurs gate… I don't see the point. The only thing that matters really is, is it worth a buy.. And my opinion is yes it is 8)

I'd say Dragon age is closer to KOTOR than BG, any day.
But it's worth a play through. Not as open ended as BG2 felt, but it's still an excellent setting with some memorable characters.
Bottom line, whatever it does or does not live up to, I thought it was a pretty good game in it's own right.

This.
And that any game can have awesome CGI trailers, only to end up being shit. Graphically and gameplay-wise. I have yet to be amazed or excited.

A trailer has been out for a few days now, anyone even half interested should give it a look. Can see what gameplay will look like as the video is no doubt the same "in game" cutscenes that DAO used :)
