Do You Enjoy Your Job?
-
Pretty simple question, just got curious about it. I was thinking about my own job, and wondered how many others were in similar shoes. I love to work, I just don't get to do it every day. I split the 2 options up into four since there's a definite age difference amongst players. Its unlikely most teenagers and college students intend to remain at their day jobs, is what I'm getting at. :)

It's enjoyable at times, but frustrating during others. It switches between fun and boring, often in the same day.
-
I voted B) Hate my job.
Thats why I went back to Uni(currently at).

I suppose you could say I have a career.
It's a very portable one.I've worked at the same Tokyo Mobile Design House for the past two years.
I swing alternately between loving it and loathing it, depending on which task occupies my time during any given day.
No denying that it's always a challenge. It's been great overall, despite all the time spent commuting on the train.
And Tokyo is an interesting city to visit (if not overcrowded and a little[lot] insane).I think though that the time to move onto something else is fast approaching.
Something farther to the north; deeper in the hills and closer to the forests. There's just too much humanity here in the Kanto district. Or maybe it'll be back to the West Coast of Canada.
Who knows. -
I voted "I love my job. (I have a Career)"

but there are days when I know that I'm doing what I was meant to doedit: for those who do not know, I am a teacher, for middle & high school, primarily history, but also certified to teach reading, literature, grammar.. (the boring stuff)

This is pretty much my story too.
Worked in resource management and the years of sending out reports nobody read (but insisted on being sent daily) and generally being completely demotivated by the office environment got to me eventually. worked for 6 months after that in criminal justice got offered a place to study psychology and decided to take it.

I love my temporary job here in Brazil. (Yes, I travel to another country while on vacation and work! My Mom doesn't have money to give me. Sad face)
I love it cause like… it's not boring and for every one day I work, I get to party four or five. :D
-
I despise my job.
but i'm very very good at it, so they pay me well. -
neutral. sometime the job is fun, sometimes, its utterly frustrating.

I work in the film industry… the greatest job ever...

Oh? I do as well. I'm a 2nd Assistant Camera, what do you do?
-
I like my job. I work for my best friend in a small computer business. I've been in IT for all my life, mainly in software development and Server design/maintenance. that sort of stuff. There are days when I'd rather be at home, but in general, its good.
-
I just started a PHD, so I guess it could fit in the long temporary occupation category.
In general, I love it, I get to use high power lasers! What more could you ask :D

Loving my job, it has been often more fun than CoA. Working in a thriving start-up management consultancy, advising companies and government on strategy and process optimization, plus doing a side PhD in sociology.
