hehe, wasnt it 100 exp before the game? :D
-
500 for draw!
-
Definitely New Zealand.
Stares at everyone with a manic face, a woolly jacket and a deadly backhand
It will be New Zealand.

The papers are saying we won, where's my XP Caek?
-
Dear gods the Germans handed us an Arse whooping…

I'm trying, really….Honestly, I think the sport needs to do something to make it more exiting. Widening the net, making that guy who yells "goooal" yell other stuff through out the game, or unleashing a lion starved for a month prior to the game on the field with the players might work.

Football is perfect as it is. It’s loved the world over unlike your silly American sports.
American Football, Basketball, Baseball – The world craves not these things.
Football is the greatest sport on earth.
-
Turbo, let's face it; Some nations, including Aus and NZ, are just.. happy to be here. (Especially the Kiwis) >_>
@Leaders:
Here’s hopin’ that England United shoot some totally awesome strikes past the goaltender in the soccerball world series today.
I don't see how the game is 'boring' in any aspect, if anything most of the league play are a hellova way faster then American Football (Especially around the BPL and La Liga), and it's stage, especially around World Cup time, is much more epic. They don't call it the 'World Game' for nothin'.
Anyway, the Netherlands - Denmark game should be pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing how Holland crush those little Olouth's; It'll be interesting to see how Holland come up against that Danish backline though, Kjaer's a hellova player at 21. They'll probably use Hinx's beloved van Useless or something but I'm countin' on Sneijder to be their playmaker here.
-
I have my fingers crossed Arsenal sign Kjaer, he’s just the sort of player to man up our defence.
I reckon Holland will tear them apart, they have an in-form Van Persie who learnt his trade at the greatest club on the face of the planet. It’s –almost- unfair to even play him to be honest.
-
I agree with LaF, if we had commentators like this it would be so much more fun:

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISAAAAH. RELEASE THE KRAKEN.
Edit: and that would be the greatest club on the planet who came third in their domestic league, and haven't won any silver for 7 years?
-
GODAMN VUVUZELA'S EVERYWHERE HEARING THEM 24/7
Ahem. I don't support my own team quite frankly (South africa), I've always liked France.
Erm, honestly, even though I have no interest in football, being pretty much a rugby-only fan, and our team did reach finals last time around, folk here reckon this zizou-less team will be lucky to make it out of the playoffs.
And, yeah, I know, our rugby team also took a trouncing in capetown :( -

I with you man. This sport is horrendously boring. But remember this is played by countries that can't afford widening nets or any other good forms of athletic entertainment,.
-
Must be tough. There’s no half-time show or adverts to hold your attention.
Football is a brilliant sport! It’s universal. Anyone can pick up a football and play – Two jumpers and you’re set. It brings together such a diverse fanbase from all over the world, all of whom can appreciate the talent and craft of the professional scene.
The game is full of characters as well that make it the most gripping spectacle on the planet. You have managers like Mourinho and Alex Ferguson, players with ridiculous talent like Messi and Ronadlo, pure craftsmen like Fabregas who are the architects of sublime movement and vision.
Then you have such depth in history with clubs of fantastic pedigree, renowned events like the Hand of God, you have cross-country/cross-continent tournaments every year. The Champions League! European nights are special events when two cultures clash on the screens of millions. There are countless domestic cups, leagues and tournaments to be challenged for every year across the world!
Football is the greatest sport on earth. I pity you for not appreciating it.

Loki: "Hey, you know, f*ck you, man. Any moron with a pack of matches can set a fire. Raining down sulfur is like an endurance trial man. Mass genocide is the most exhausting activity one can engage in, outside of soccer. "
I have to say that I'm glad Germany ran up the score on the Aussies (and that game was shown on normal broadcast and not just cable even) to show the US that not every game has a goal in the first 20 minutes and then the leading team just passes the ball back and forth for the rest of the 90.
The US is more of a smash them in the mouth, run as fast as you can for 45 seconds, hey jumping motorcycles is a sport sort of crowd – the rest of the world is more of a marathon running, 3 day cricket tests and bicycling UP mountains for 18 days straight is a sport sort of crowd.
90 minutes with 0-0 ties isn't lighting fires over here with most of the population. We even hate our own national pass-time because it's too slow; outside of Boston, New York and whichever NL city is ahead, no one under the age of 60 watches baseball. I don't think I've paid more than $10 to see a baseball game (outside Fenway Park & Wrigley Field) in 10 years.
Yet, somehow, the slack-jawed yokels that make up 85% of the US population can watch cars go in circles for 5 or 6 hours at a time.
((In the US yokel's defense- soccer would be a lot more palatable if they cut down on the diving and holding your shin writhing in pain for 3 minutes crap. It makes players look like crybabies and pansies. If players need to lie down and take a rest with 10 minutes left in the half then just put a damn TV timeout in the game so we don't have to watch guys with mullets cry for their mommies because they want to stall the game to get a breather. US style footballers play with strained acl's and broken fingers and concussions and if they cry about it- we make fun of them. Because real men don't cry when playing sports and anyone who runs to the ref because they tripped is a b*tch.))

made me think of the hard man of english football, Stuart Pierce, who carried on playing after breaking his leg, and wanted to go out for the second half!
Suffers broken left leg in a challenge with Micah Hyde during West Ham's Premiership match against Watford. West Ham manager Harry Redknapp reveals Pearce kept his boot on at half-time and wanted to go out for the second half
Hardman of football!

High scoring? Barcelona's, Oh I mean, Messi's demolition of Arsenal in the Champion's League was a good show of that, imo.
