Bard Healing Song

make constant check for it, you fail it stops working. Kinda like the other ones I've seen in the bard's list of crap they get. 1hp/rd but ever round the DC goes up, DC 20 to start. Limits when you can use it and limits how long it lasts. You do it for th eone that deals damage over time same thing for healing over time.
quick math and probability says average migh tbe in the range of 10-20 hp. No Low HP characters would be full heals, but to the High HP characters wouldn't be.
My two sence, but the game really messed up what a bard should be able to do anyways. Maybe script the bards to be more like the books, not this combat orented mess of a class they came up with.
Or yeah, I'm still gonna troll the forums. Keep up on the goings on. XD

All healing spells cast in the effects of it are empowered.

Is it possible to script it so that the bard song only grants a grand total of HP healed?
For instance, as it is, you cause all people around you to regenerate +X HP per round.
What if the song did the same thing, but a figure was added as a total HP gain cap. For example, your bard song heals 40 HP max. With a 2 person party, each person would gain +X HP until that final cap of 40 HP was reached, or until the bard song wore off. The cap figure could be factored in by the healing skill, or charisma, or wisdom, or intelligence modifier, just say that the song taps into certain divine energies for wisdom.

I second this.
It has this. The max bonus you can get from heal skill is to 5 hp regens.
Really, the only thing I changed was the minimum amount of healing was 2–mostly due to a typo. Now minimum healing is 1.

Perhaps have it linked to Heal skill AND perform skill, so one has to be very good at BOTH to get the excellent regen rates

Perform skill is linked to your Bard Rank.
Its like this.
Heal Rank / 5 is how much you heal.
But that can't be a number higher than your Bard Rank (which is Perform + Levels in Bard–the chart below shows Bard Ranks 1-7).

I like that this has been changed, that now a bard can no longer heal more effectively than a cleric that has plied their skills solely for the same art.
Though honestly, if I were to suggest a change I would suggest no regen at all; only the bonus to the players' Heal skill in the area of effect.
