Tristan, and Other Knights

This is my reply, a copy for our files.
Namely-
If the Crown wishes us to join in the suppression of these cultists and chaotic elements, I want mainly one thing-
- The Precept adopts the debt we owe to Tilverton.
You may attach other demands, but this is the sticking point and my bottom line.
You may, of course, make this same offer to Ercole- while my dislike for Revolutionaries is well known, I cannot stomach the betrayal the Crown paid us when it looked the other way instead of throwing behind us their whole-hearted support.
Sincerely,
Belon

So I’ve talked with Izereth of the Precepts and Ercole of the Lower House both on this matter.
To the Precepts the other I made is thus:
The Precept will adopt the debt we owe to Tilverton and in exchange and we help put down the riots and their war actions with Tilverton will be fully forgiven.
With our newly secured finances we will start setting up a new mage tower run by vetted Precept staff.
While the tower will be collecting ‘gifted’ students from the surrounding area, no student will be allowed to leave our lands until they have come to maturity and will be subject to all of Eveingstars laws (most notably the requirement to come to morning prayer).
The logic here is to make the Precept feel what they really doing is spending money to extended their ability to collect more ‘gifted’ (a clear important objective of theirs) and clear up the damage to relations from there little backstab in our war with Tilverton.
From our end of things, it gives us the start of real arcane power to backup our forces and start creating a faction within the Precepts that far more Lathaderite leaning in its ideals by controlling their early spiritual life.
To the Lower House the offer I made is thus:
The Church of Tymora and its Revolutionary forces will adopt the debt we owe to Tilverton in exchange for our protection. (side note, Ercole is interested in the sums of the debt)
The Church of Tymora and its Revolutionary forces will encourage those of poor means and ‘gifted’ bloodlines to migrate to Eveningstar.
If the Revolution is successful in its goals, efforts will be made to preserve the lives and property of House Mossmere.
Now this one slightly more complex in its logic. While debts for protection is easy agreement to understand the other two points need more explaining.
Like above I have eyes on our future and increasing our arcane support. With the debt gone we will be able to construct a tower for the arcane. Additionally, this method will certainly hinder and seriously weaken the Precepts own recruitment.
While I have not explained the ‘hows’ to Jace of House Mossmere, I have stated that we expect an influx of new citizens, especially of ‘gifted’ bloodlines, and in exchange for Mossmere helping those ‘gifted’ persons gain control and learn to use there powers responsibly, they will be granted a tower and the permission to seek apprentices from within Eveningstar to train in the wizard arts.
While this Tower will be ‘Mossmeres’, it will certainly bring coin and magical expertise closer to our door. Additionally I expect many of the ‘gifted’ once they have learned to tame there gifts will look towards an Astar uniform as there next step in life.
So these are the offers I have sent out my Bishop and the whys. I personally feel that we are better are taking our chances with Ercole over Izereth, for the simple reason I feel backing the Precepts will strengthen Tilverton power in the city, while backing the Revolutionaries will ensure we have a good seat in a new Arabel at best and a protected and grateful ally in the Church of Tymora at worse.

The Lower House has acepted the offer and the Precept has violently rejected it.
We ready to march?

I didn't realize Ercole spoke for Arianna.
The Lower House will assume the debt via the machinations of Arabel's government unless Arianna herself signs off on it.

Enough to be painful.
//I am not giving exact figures as it's a plot device, and not something you can just quest and grind enough to make go away.

Tristan,
Arianna has signed the paperwork stating that if we send aid, they will assume the debt.
I am not going to explain to you why this is a terrible idea, and I apologize for even presenting it as a viable alternative. Neutrality would have served us best in the end, but - well, the bed was made and now we must sleep in it.
You're going to go, along with Sir Myrkyr, to the Palace, and pledge to defend the QUEEN, and ensure that no riotous revolutionary's bring harm to the "True Heir" Of House Goldfeather. King Matrim is to be left to his own devices.
I do not want to see or hear tale of you fighting against the Royal Army in the Historic. If it looks to be that the rebels win, you can proclaim the surrender of the Palace, and keep the Queen as hostage.
If the Royal Army looks to be winning, pray for the dead.

P.S:
If I hear Propaganda saying we didn't honor our promise, or you go to Myrkyr about this, I will excommunicate you.

//not sure if this is something Roland as a Dawnsquire only would have access too? "Other Knights" are meant for NPCs or PCs? @SpiffyMeister
