Vampires and Asbaron
-
This file is dedicated towards the discussion of the rivaling forces of Undeath. Any information pertaining to this is of dire importance.
The first report.
I, Dawnknight Tiatus Thornwind was traveling to Arabel from Eveningstar where I crossed paths with Dextar and Faryn. They sought the lady of crimson and coal to find answers. Their sending to that point was responded by this creature to meet in a cellar. Unknowing what she spoke of, I recalled Sir Nicholas having suspicions that the smuggling tunnels were a coven for vampires. As we explored it's dark depths we came across a figure of pale skin. Clumsy yet graceful he thirsted for blood. Unwavering in it's effort to get a taste of thy blood we fought it and defeated it twice. We then found where it slept but at the point of a third attempt I was far too expended and fended it off until Dextar and Faryn made a safe retreat where I then followed. It is evident this is a serious concern and these creatures must be brought to face the Light. I believe this foul creature to be a weaker kin to what is ahead of us. Be wary and stay true.
The light is the way,

Adding to this report, I have had an face to face meeting with another Vampire right in front of the North Gate of the city.
She called herself Shamril, and she came out of nowhere clad in Dusk and Gold. She was not very forthcoming with information, but my call to speak with the one in Coal and Crimson spurred he into some type of action. She gave me "gifts" as well. A bag which contained 3 vials of Liquor, an amulet to Amaunator who I understand to be some type of old god, and an amulet to Jergal who I do not know. Shamril I am certain is in the service of Asberon. She would not give me any clear answers on their intentions or goals, but it is clear if she wishes me struck down, she can do so easily. Both sides seem to be courting favor, but to what end I am not sure. If there are any more sightings of these Vampires
i wish them to be reported here, no matter how insignificant it may seem.Dextar Jes'tar
