Raid upon Strategist's Den

I reckon we can dispatch some scouts to have a look about, I've a couple men quick on their feet who can get the job done.

Once the scouts have reported back from their scouting mission, I suggest we rally together against the Strategist!

Who is able to attend the raid? I am working on collecting resources for ourselves and the adventuring body, a call for aid will be announced once we confirm that most of the council is able to attend.

This time works for me.
We can, if possible, breach the underground camp by using the explosive powder. If we dig from above their main camp some feet down, we can bury the power, set the charge, and hopefully take the strategist by surprise with an attack from above.

We confirmed that the witch's power is waning the strategist claimed to be free of her influence and many like him were too. cannot confirm if lies because the Aster killed him in the confusion of a rock drake awakening from a tomb. We then blew up the caverns.

Let it be known that today the dreaded strategist's plans against Arabel were brought to an end, and the horrid servant of the White Witch was destroyed along with its deadly den. Let us praise these heroes, who risked life, and limb, in the name of Arabel and freedom. Fortune favors the bold!

Luckbringer and Commander Ottilie Taaliyah- We gathered in the Palace, before pushing forth into the Strategist's Den with the aid of our scouts
- With the aid of our scouts, Kaldo, Blue, and Pink, we were able to move forward with ease, as they removed many deadly traps
- Many goblins were slain as we pushed forth, using brute force and the element of surprise to gain an advantage against the forces
- Briefly we halted to inspect a strange glowing device, which attracted the attention of a swarm of stirges, the swarm calmed only when the device was shattered
- Regrouping and moving ahead once more, a strange goblin head illusion appeared attempting to taunt us next to a dragon statue. We attempted to speak and interact with it, yet it was unresponsive
- As we pushed further into the caverns, we found many collapsed tunnels with crushed goblin corpses, until we came across a strange ruin
- Inside, were two strange speaking skulls, before a noisy device, its tunes were difficult to read and before we could study it proper the Strategist appeared
- Rather than the goblin we expected, a kobold of decent intelligence appeared, with fluent common and the ability to calculate our movements
- It spoke of the White Witch's control of it being gone, and it now only served the great one, being vague and evasive with its answers
- We attempted to capture the kobold, when the noisy device became even nosier and the giant sarcophagus began to open
- A giant earth drake burst out from the sarcophagus, in our battle against the drake the Strategist was slain, soon followed by the drake whose death halted the noise device
- With the Strategist dead, and the drake no more. We placed down the explosives by the entrance to the ruin, then ran for it as the entire cavern system collapsed around us
All in all, we moved forth with great speed and made the best of the situation that we could. The White Witch's powers have been confirmed to be waning and the Warlord's loyalty are no longer certain. Next planned raid is upon Tilverton, a bold and daring move, unexpected with great advantage thanks to the actions by the Councils and heroes of Arabel.
