Posting After-Death/Retirement

Posting an IC letter, diary entry, etc. after your PC has died, retired, or in any other form or fashion become no longer IG in the IC sense, is NOT acceptable. DO NOT DO THIS. It's unfair to the PCs who are still around and have no chance of recourse against your now-gone PC. It's underhanded and really, metagaming/cheating, and if you do this I will not be lenient.

To clarify something. It's probably Ok to write a little "goodbye cruel world!" diary entry, as though it was written the day before an expected death.
When.it becomes NOT AT ALL OK is if it had/could have some effect in game.
