Unfair gold from DM Quests
-
now this is an issue with players that go on DM Quests. A DM will hand a single player a large amount of gold and then tell that player to divide the loot. the player then decided to play favorites and gives the gold unfairly to all the players. in return for such an act the players who where favored return in kind the next time they quest and so on and so forth.
this is not cool, I don't care what your character will do, there are things called Player Character Courtesy. on of those is to divide the loot EVENLY, not 1200 to one guy 600 to another and 500 to the next.
if you are wondering where this is coming from, it's the dam DM Quest where Dracohorn handed Tamsin a bag of gold and strait out in front of us said 11 shares and 2 shares to her friend. I then asked around and found out that some people got 600 gold and others got 400. Good Job on spreading the loot evenly, you must be amazing with numbers!! -_-

It's an IC issue, take it IC.
-
BULL SH– This is Player Courtesy, it should have nothing to do with in game.
-
It should not, this is not player courtesy. Dickish characters will hand out gold how they see fit. If they're keeping gold for themselves and not emoting it, it is an OOC issue, but if they decide to play favourites it is IC.
-
it's literally as a Player don't screw over your fellow adventurers even if you are part of a super secret club! you want to know what is going to happen in game because of this? I don't trust any of the banner man, all of Dracohorns men are corrupt if not more than the Advisers.
-
To be honest this is fairly standard from some players don't panic over it treat it as ic and never work with them again.
Or better yet work with and then kill and full loot them during the quest/event. -
IC actions, IC consequences. All actions in game are IC and so you need to deal with them that way.

I don't even know the guy. I only know he was frontlining almost the entire event. Also, the amount was 636 gp, no one got 400 gold.

Locking this. No more ooc rants about ic stuff. On a general level i will point out though that it is perfectly fine, and fair to say that we will divide loot based on merit, risk, and contribution to the mission, instead of giving everyone a "fair" share.

I will add, I do tell a player ooc if I want him to share fairly or equally. It is easier to give players the gold than to do it via DM console.
