Faction: The Plebian Court
The Plebian Court is an alliance of rebels, dissidents, and reformers who share a mutual hatred for Lord Hardcastle and believe that Cormyr has fallen from the great moral leadership it once held (if it ever held it at all). The Court has long used banditry and smuggling to undermine royal authority around Arabel, or just to pay the bills. For every revolutionary there is an honest crook. The Court has managed to take advantage of the weakened status of the Chaos Brigade after its conflicts with the Archprelates to dominate Old Town's politics and underground. The leader of the Court is a shadowy figure, called the Citizen. His precise goals are unknown, but it is clear he openly mocks Cormyrian aristocracy and despise Lord Hardcastle.
In general, the Plebian Court's goals and plans include:
1). Protecting the workers and people of Old Town, distributing wealth stolen from the aristocracy to the poor.
2). Demonstrating the corruption and lies, revealing the truths hidden by the Congress of Faith which has been purchased by Lord Hardcastle's "charity".
3). Drive the Thayans from Arabel and return control of this city, and its lands, to its people and not leaders in Suzail who ignored it for ten long hard years.
4). Ensure the safety of the city's people and its lands which are threatened by Hardcastle's industries.Race Limits: None, all are welcome by the Plebian Court

Other Requirement: NoneAffiliation with this faction is open to any players who go through and pass a scripted event (coming soon). Individuals affiliated with the group, or who apply for membership pre-character creation, may be sponsored by an NPC member of the faction. Faction sponsors include:
The Citizen, a mysterious man who claims to represent the people. He is rumored to have been involved in the Red Scarf affair, to have assassinated Lord Emil Wyvernspur and Ann-Marie Hardcastle, he leads bandits to rob Hardcastle's caravans and redistributes the wealth to the people. He executes smugglers who harm the people of Arabel, but allows gangs who focus their attention only upon the rich to survive and even prosper. A man of contradictions, he has come to exist more as a symbol of rebellion and freedom than as a man.
Misele Nogan, a priestess of Tyche who claims the Congress of Faith is willfully suppressing evidence that Saint Darmos has become one of the gods. Darmos, the patron saint of Arabel, will now restore the glory to the city, giving alms and miracles to those who turn their back upon Cormyr and its lords to support the people as Darmos himself did in his life.
