Netheril City Defenses
-
_Rahserat scours the various libraries of Arabel searching for information regarding mentions of seige defense mechanisms for Netheril cities. He specifically looks for permanent magical defense systems common across the cities of Netheril, which would protect the city and its inhabitants from an outsider ground threat. Finally, he concludes his search with an extensive search of what caused Netherese cities to float. Incantations and rituals of magic, paired with focus devices are recorded, whereas vague accounts of Mythal powering the city are quickly overlooked.
Lastly, as an afterthought, Rahserat scans the history books for unexplained instances of the magical effects or wards placed upon people attempting to enter the ruins below Arabel, disregarding all recent mentions of the Rift._

[All that is really well known of ancient Netheril is that they relied a great deal on their magical mythals. Their principal means of defense from barbarians or others was of course, that their entire empire was airborne. That, combined with their legendary grasp of magic, likely made them the undisputed rulers of the entire world. They suggest going through the library to see if he can find more of use.
They suggest if he want more information, he would need to see if he can discover more himself. They also add that he can always ask the Shades how they do it, though that is succeeded with a smile of joviality.]

Rahserat's smirks of incredulity at this last response cannot be missed upon his otherwise emotionless face. He seems to be quite at home amongst the library, and the whit of the librarians is seldom lost upon him.
