Feedback: Today's Server Wide Event
-
If you were involved, and without spoilers, we'd like to hear some feedback of what went down!
Are you excited about the fallout, what's to come?
-
Bit too hard to figure out what precisely is going on. Well run, from what i managed to see, but the information flow seems very limited. Perhaps that will change, but… A post in the rumor section, an announcement or shout or two of what has occured, would do wonders i think.
-
If you weren't there from the very start, before the fight, you wouldn't have known why it was taking place, no.
You can find that out IC I am sure!
-
I'm pretty excited to see what comes after, and I thought the event managed to run pretty well considering how many people and DMs were involved. Unfortunately I died three times but that was due to my own recklessness and inability to turn away from a fight. Overall I'd say it was pretty cool though and I'm looking forward to the next few weeks in Arabel.

Was a big giggidy. Loved it.

My already relatively high pitched voice rose atleast 2 more octaves in poor Teamspeak's ears. I thought it was great. Mostly for the NPC that came out at the north gate, but either way. Whoever did that - I shall be your undying servant~
-_- probably should have posted this on my main account. Doh.
-
I had no idea what made these events transpire IC, but I am sure it's an IC thing that few knew about.
The other NPCs that were there, I didn't understand that either…
Nevertheless, it was fun. I miss these kinds of events.

From what i saw was okay im pretty much in the same boat as i expect others are as in no clue about the events that transpired to bring this about.
Plus i also made the mistake of honouring my characters word and going to help with the battle when he was half the level of alot of the fighters that pretty much ment certain death due to it being tailored to the upper level range.
Other than that I had no idea as a character what was happening or why,as a player I knew what was happening but never saw any of it in game. -
Being clueless about what happened is fine. Some people will, other people won't. We tried to concoct an even spread of fun stuff that would get players old and new excited. As Caek said, you can easily find out in game all the stuff that transpired today.
And yes, we'll -definitely- throw up some IC rumors about what just happened.
-
let the games begin from what information i've gathered.
-
While I was not there for the event itself, the rumors and whispers tie in elegantly with other happenings going on in ways that could open so many doors.
-
I'm pretty upset that the one chance Lisa had to accomplish what actually needed to be done was kind of sidelined by RL stuff or the planning was pointless. . . but hey. Shit happens and it's just a game, right?
-
The rumours are such a tease! It sounds like all the fun of the civil war is about to head home to CoA again though :D

I noticed that while it was going on, it was just 3 players on the server that was not there… I didn't expect any of what was going on, much because I didn't really know much about the conflicts between the factions. I have seen the sherrifs being banned from the guilded district, but thats all I know.
But as always on DM events, I end up at some point not knowing if it is all over, or if it has just went on further. I was following people, and found out where the two major battles was going on. then it just dies off and people vanish, no debrief or anyone trying to get anything else going. And I never know if that was it, or if people just know where to go next...
This is perhaps the one thing I've noticed over and over again with DM events. And it frustrates me actually. But I dont really know what to do about it.

Ask ask and ask IC. I missed the whole event but have been able to build a fair (possibly incorrect) picture of what happened.
The truth is out there!

It's not finding out after I'm talking about. I was in the middle of it, and then suddenly it was as if nothing had happened there just a minute before, everyone just went their way without anyone saying anything…. But I'll manage :p
