Resilience and reliance

As the Arabellan militia faces a severe shortage in manpower, their focus on defense has intensified. The Queen recognizes the urgency and has taken steps to enhance the city's defenses, including vital restoration work in the Historic District. Although the district remains in a poor condition, it is a relief that it is no longer covered in rubble.
As the Capital focuses on strengthening its defenses, small villages and towns now heavily depend on their local Lords and mayors. The nobility is expected to address more local issues, while remaining challenges and major threats are assigned to the adventurous population for resolution.

Recently the Queen has been spotted together with the High Priestess of Tymora, touring the restoration work of the Historic District as well as the improved defenses. The two women appears to have had a pleasant time together, focusing on the future as they secure the safety and well-being of Tymora's blessed city. Their co-operation a far cry from the turmoil and chaos of the adventuring Tymorans, with their brawling lover spats in the streets and foul mouthed sendings.

The Queen has undertaken a noble endeavor to uplift the lives of war veterans in her kingdom by providing them with meaningful employment. By hiring these veterans as leaders in road improvement projects throughout various regions of Arabel. The whispers suggest that Queen Kestrel believes in honouring the bravery and sacrifices made by these veterans, offering them an opportunity to contribute to the betterment of their land. Which not only provides them with a source of income, but also aids in their reintegration into society as respected and valued members.
A slow but steady transformation is taking place in the roads of Arabel, excluding the Moonsea Ride due the frequent raids by gnolls, goblins and other monstrous tribes. Still, now war veterans can use their skills, experience, and unwavering dedication to enhance the kingdom's roads and find new opportunities away from the horrors of war. These road improvement projects are not only benefiting the veterans themselves, but also the entire kingdom. The roads are being widened and made safer, with the emergence of new pathways and bridges that facilitate smoother travel between towns and support the growth of the trade between Arabel and Cormyr, something which doesn't please everyone.
