Widgit that changes armor appearance
-
Is it possible to have a widgit, that when used, changes the target item's appearance?
For example, you buy a Full Plate from Kest, bring it to Eveningstar. A Red Hart uses a Widgit on it, and the chestpiece changes to the Red Hart Symbol, and the robe changes to the appropriate loincloth thingie.

Not a bad idea.

I think I remember back in the day there being a NPC in the Bhalir faction who would Dye, Rename, and add a new description to armor if you spoke with him. I don't know if it changed appearance besides that though.

Can we please, for the love of everything holy and beautiful in this world, have this back? Such a great idea.

This is one of the reasons factions go broke. To dye stuff.
But the inability of ppl to actually CHANGE fricking armor appearances, that is bloody fricking shitty and to me, one of the worst hold-overs from Arabel's history as hard-core elitist RP.

Huh?
You can change armour. Except the armour that's not meant to be changed. Like Red Hart gear.

I think the OP's suggestion was towards having a widget that allowed us to modify armor and add livery and other armor pieces that are otherwise unavailable from post-1.68 patch updates (Wyvern Crown of Cormyr stuff).

I think what the OP is considering is the possibility of finding better armors than RH provide and modifying them using that requested item.
