[Letter to House Winterfrost]
-
[the letter is clearly written by a scribe]
Honored members of the House of Winterfrost,
I apologies for the late request, but I write to claim my favor owed for winning the Winterfrost Games. I will keep it short and simple. I am trying to ride this country of the foul and evil Salt Cultists of Eveningstar, madmen who are destroying the land with salt and turning people into salt golems. Most horrid business I will spare you the details of.
In order to do so, I feel the old temple in the former town needs to be destroyed to end their gathering of salt. To do so, I need to plans of the building. My request: are you able to provide those plans? I know you are not from there, but you may still have the needed access to gain me those plans. And if possible, perhaps a meeting with an architect that could point to us the best way to bringing down the building? If not, simply the plans will do. We will figure it out.
My sincere regards,

[the writing is crude but legible]
Honored members of the House of Winterfrost,
With what happened recently, I understand if you do not want to grant a favor owed to a member of the Fellowship. I'm sorry for the situation. All I can ask of you, instead of giving this favor to me, then see it given to the people that are being conscripted. Many of the commoners and peasants got bad gear and are poorly trained.
Help them. Whatever you can spare, whoever in your wonderful house can teach them to fight with all their heart. Please help in defending this country.
That is the favor. No one needs to know who the favor was for.
May the gods guide and protect us,
-SAPPHIRE

My Lady Sapphire,
House Winterfrost has not forgotten you and I can only apologise for our delay of response.
We shall send for you in the coming week and see what needs of yours we can address.
Yours,
