Any of the Fellowship are welcome to come to my attempt to figure out how to fix the town of course.

I will do a full updates to our files latter when my brain works, but it would seem the darkness Izereth summoned under the town is some kind of beholder delustion magic or something.

Didn't quite understand all we saw in there.
Anyway. Eveningscar. Here's what I know:
- Salt seems to gather around the old temple for some reason.
- Cultists claim to be "hunting for treasure" in Eveningscar, even though nothing left in there.
- Captured a cultist that told me the above but she eventually melted into a puddle of salt only to reform as a salt golem
- there's a book called the Book of Salt apparently somewhere, maybe in Deadwell as its where the folks who had it disappeared. Some blokes called the Deliverance? No idea who they were.

House Mordecai got the Book of Salt. They passed it to the Arcane Guild for study.
Lets make sure the Arcane folks are safe. Something tells me the cultists or maybe some other interested parties will try to get it from them.
Trying to set up a meeting with both Houses (cause Gallica is leading the arcane guild and all) so we can sort out where everyone is at about Eveningstar and what we all know. Better pool things together than all go at it separately.
We aint here for the glory, we're here for the results.

Not be surprised if Adrian tries to magpie it at some point . He loves his thugs too and has no common sense and a big ego.

Rosa's got the book for now but publically, they all say its under the care of House Cormaeril.
Adrian's got a theory that the crying sphinx statue that's in the basement of the Lathander temple was dragged there from somewhere else. They'd found some drag mark in the tunnels under the halls and he thinks it was that statue, from in from a ship on the underwater river there. Seems to think it might act as some way for them to portal in and out of the temple and the halls. Could be there's another statue like it?
Rosa seemed to think it was one of the statues that's near the halls but those are two crying tressyms. Then again, the things sort of look alike. Still might be related. The two tressyms outside the halls are the end point of some portal that's in the hall if I got it right.
I noticed how all the salt seems to be gathering on the temple. If you looks at it closely, its all gathered in front and around. Probably looks like its more out in front cause the woods are pretty close in the back and around so. I get the feeling if the place was clear all around, the salt would be making a perfect circle around.
Kind of feels like them cultists are trying to make a giant salt golem or something. Gathering it all on the temple.
Seems also the cultists are experimenting on people and living things. We found what sort of looked like an owlbear. And we all know there's a nest of them in the halls. And all the salt statues disappeared. Either the rain melted them or they used them for something?
Their ritual seems to have something to do with mirrors. There's a good few broken one in there that's covered in salt and blood. And apparently, in the room that has that giant mirror in the halls, there was a circle of mirrors that were the same. Its all gone now but seems a ritual failed there too.
This is all real confusing to me but I'm trying to get work done and figure it out. Gimme something to hit and kill, now there I sure can get solid results. Anyway, looks like the houses are willing to help. And Adrian too, nosy bugger. He wants to solve everything and get all the glory. He better be helpful.
About allI remember for now.

Oi folks, anyone noticed? Salt's been moving. And I aint liking what it is doing.
Hadn't finished my map from before the shift but here's a rough estimate as to where the salt was in town.
And here is where it is at.
It's gathering all around the temple and now the building's half covered with it, if not more. Its all around it now and in good large chunks too. Used to be a good few salt trees around but now its either dead salt trunk and branches or just petrified dead trees. There's a few piles left here and there but not much. Its almost all around the temple.
Everything else around is dead land and cleared of all salt.
And from what I hear, them houses didn't make any progress studying that salt book either. I'll be asking them if they are just sitting on it or just don't care about Eveningstar to bother.

So! We finally found a few cultists in Eveningstar to beat up and capture. Crazy little bastard they are. Wouldn't talk and just yelled nonsense about salt. Then he just bit down on something and went up and died on us. Irritating.
We looked around some more and eventually some creepy guy came along. He looked like a dried corpse for lack of better description. Even in the rain he looked all dried up. Its like the water didn't want anything to do with him.
At least that one was more willing to talk. Think he's a survivor that now worships the King of Salt. Which is weird cause the angel we got told she was female. Her boss maybe? Anyway.
He greeted us by saying we were walking over the sins of mankind. Cheerful guy. He said each grain of salt was the sin of some guy called Belon and his belief in his own goodness. Who was Belon? Is he still alive or something? We pretty much figured this guy was a cultists, but at least not one extreme like the bugger we tried to capture.
He said to live was to be a sinner. Rude really. He rambled on about us all hurting grass just by walking on it, killing stuff for food or just breathing! Said people were a mistake made by the gods. The nerves.
The it just got real weird and he began to peel off his own dried skin and bleeding all over the place. Babbling on about every ounce of flesh and blood given is penance for our sins. Real whack job that one. Then he had the balls to ask us if we'd pay for our sin with em. Gross. Babbled on some more about following the King of Salt and that the gods gave us a soul to have a concience and choose right or something. Giving out flesh and blood to fight evil.
Grin tried to get him to tell us where their place of sacrifice was. But he was just ranting on and on. Eventually learned he used to be a farmer and saw the angel fly off. Said she had rotten wings and that she judged them all, finding them wanting. Aint give her the right to kill everything and everyone.
We manage to get him to talk a bit about the salt. Said it was sin again and that we were trying to wash it out with rain, but even with that, it just gathered and grew taller on the temple. There's no sun shining cause of the rain and all too. Claimed they werent the ones doing this but it was us. With out sinful ways and stuff.
Tanya eventually got pissed and shoved the idiots. She got tired of him just talking like a pathetic coward. He just kept blaming us for briging violence and wrath, blah blah blah, hounds of Apocalypse were coming to get us, so on and so forth. She's right, he just complains and doing nothing, pleading for mercy, while we're fighting evil with everything we got.
He even blamed the Fellowship for letting the Cyrists win. Last I check, the Fellowship didn't exist then.
Anyhow, seems the Salt worshipers are trying to cleanse the sins of manking and succeed where the "supposed" good folks failed. I get the feeling they wont care how many people they hurt doing so. They are completely crazy.
Need to know a few things.
- How did the rain start?
- How do we make it stop, cause its not doing shite, the salt's still gathering at the temple, trying to reach up to heaven.
- Any suggestion on how to break down the salt on the temple?
- Who the heck is the King of Salt?

Need to talk to Francesca, apparently she might have found somethings related to Eveningstar.
We should just destroy the temple. That or find and kill the cultist leader.
I'm out of ideas...

Book of Salt's useless. Apparently it can grand powers to the worthy but what it considers worthy is a complete mystery.
Eveningstar's slowly recovering but if we wanna speed things us, someone needs to pay with their life apparently.
So I guess we remove the cult, since they are crazy bastard killing everything and everyone that walks around, then let nature run its course.
Find me that damn cult!
