File: Order of the Illuminated Blade

I have accepted a position of liason with the Order of the Illuminated Blade.
They are focused on solving and informing of the greater threats that our nation faces.

Their leader, mostly in spirit currently, is Fyevarra - a wizard with martial prowess, though she is ill.
Otherwise, their numbers are comprised of:
Elrinde, an ex-Precept.
Sabriel Florent, ex Crown Guard, noble blood
Leona - Unknown to me, as of yet
Possibly more members.

Their current focus are the Tethgard Seal, to which they apparently hold the key to entering the Tethgard ruins, a set of equipment worn by former prominent persons. As well are they focused on the Goldfeather Ward. Here they appear to be delving into the history of the Goldfeather line, to unearth clues. They are for example certain that a bound corpse with wings, found in the ruins beneath Arabel, is a half-celestial of the Goldfeather line.

Attention has shifted to the Goldfeather Ward and the planar battlefield.
Currently they seek to aid a devil named Sabre, by accompanying him to the hells and his father's castle - the one in charge of their side of this battle.
I have attempted repeatedly to warn them of this course of action, yet they seem dead set on it, unless I can find some other angle to provide.

I've been informed that the celestial side has been struck with madness, due to a lack of answers from the divine they serve and therefore are unwilling to be of aid. Rather, they appear to be hostile to most.
Thus, I see only two viable solutions:

Slay Sabre and take whatever means he uses of transporting to his father's hellscape.
Cure the madness of the celestials and with their aid, invade the hellscape.

Have we perchance any information or clue I might follow up on concerning the madness the Celestials face? Perhaps information on some manner of relic of divinity that we might recover and offer them? (In case such might be enough for temporary reprieve)
