Ok I'm still trying to put together things, but it seems wishes are being granted in odd ways and it links with Izereth and her beholder master.
So we got Unicorn who got turn half unicorn freakish monster with a horn with unicorn like magic in it. Apparently when she was transformed she heard Izereth voice laughting and Izereth had previously stolen her blood.

We also have Fye and her sword.
Apparently shortly after a unpleasant meeting with beholder "blue eyed lady" along with my younger brother Evan and Elrinde, Fye went into a trance and created a magical sword from a gift of metal (I think it was from the blue eye lady thing, but I need to fact check.)
The sword is a work of art and has enchantments past anything that Fye could normally make, but more telling it was the sword of a true spellsword... exactly the sort of thing Fye would wish for.
She told me that Izereth did -not- have her blood through, unlike with Unicorns case.
On the blue eye lady, it seems kin to the blue eye man beholder thing and used mind control to seduce Evan and kissed his check before running off. A little latter a hole burned in the spot he was kissed, but I've yet to have chance to investigate first hand.
She apparently invites people to picnics as her greeting too... so be alert for random strangers asking such.
On Evan we must sadly treat him as compromised and sick. The Precepts have offered to figure out what’s happened to him and repair any damage, but for now let’s not tell him any state secrets as a matter of sense.

@paramour said in Precept Notices; Dreamers, Helmlands:
For immediate public release:
After a recent incident in the Historic District, the public is to be appraised of the following issues:
Regarding the 'Blue-Eyed Dreamers'
- There have been several instances of the adventuring populace encountering people with strikingly blue, glowing eyes, most commonly observed in the Forest of Eyes.
- These 'Dreamers' can infect a host with a parasite, which bonds with the subject and subdues their free will during an incubation period, causing them to refuse all assistance and possibly deny the occurrence entirely.
- After approximately one tendays' time, the parasite fully bonds with its host, granting them strange powers and dreams, or visions, while bringing them into line with the scattered remnants of the Beholder host.
- A strong enough poison can force the parasite out of the host during its incubation period, but further delay may prove fatal.
Members of the public are advised never to follow these Dreamers, to report their appearances, and if any instances of an infected individual are observed, to avoid those people and report them immediately to a member of the Precept Arcanum. These individuals and the Dreamers should be considered extremely dangerous.
The following known carriers are still at large:
Jendayi, of the Wildwalkers
The following known carriers have been evaluated and cured or curtailed;
Evan Lehmann, of the Ravens
Fyevarra, of the Illuminated BladesThis list is to be updated as further information surfaces.
Regarding the Helmlands
- Individuals and merchants traveling the Moonsea Ride are advised to give a wide berth to the Helmlands, where wild magic has been observed to turn people into animals, and subjugate them to the will of an entity residing within the Helmlands.
- In some cases, only a partial transformation has been observed.
- The area of effect of this magic is restricted to the Helmlands and may be tracked by the appearance of colorful motes of light, roughly analogous to the multifaceted luminous cloud presently hovering over the Helmlands.
- Currently affected areas include the Moonsea Ride, the Blasted Lands, the Forest of Eyes, and the Maw itself.
If you encounter an animal wandering near these areas that does not seem to be acting as an animal should, or if for instance there exists an animal that should not be present in this area (such as a tiger or a lion), or an individual seems only partially transformed, subjects may be brought to the Precept Arcanum for transmutation back to their original forms. Within the area of effect, however, the subjects fall under some sort of thralldom, becoming hostile.
Travelers near these lands are warned that the appearance of a single-color mote of light, however apparently harmless, is frequently the harbinger of this powerful transmutive magic; give these a wide berth, and withdraw from the area to report these instances of wild magic, for your own safety.
Individuals known to be partially affected by this;
'Unicorn', of the Wildwalkers
This list to be updated as further information surfaces.
The Precept Protects.
Sister Pilotess d'Rousey, Bloodhound
Sanctum of the Precept ArcanumWe have new information. I consider this a separate issue to the investigation into the Beholder Hive, but of course the two are linked. Be wary.
