The Druids
-
One of the druids in our meeting was meeting with Izereth, one Eo. It appears any secrecy we might have hoped for in staging our ritual uninterrupted is now gone and the druids are compromised. Reccomending exile post haste.

I feel as though if we do this, Izereth will have succeeded in driving a wedge between the druids and Eveningstar.
Eo does not seem to me to be malicious. I find it difficult to believe that, rude as she may be, she is fool enough to work for a beholder-sorceress. Can we not ask the druid Ursula on this? She has said we can simply be blunt with her, if it's necessary.

@paramour It appears they tried to spring a trap. But eitherway the druids appear to hold faiths anathema to Lathander with serious concerns to their pagan ways.
When tried to reason with calmly they appear to simply wish to be disrespectful inside the house of the morninglord. They are alone because they make it so. I tried to treat in good faith and all I get back is ‘Not you cannot do this but you will do this’ so I refuse to assist in this pagan ritual they insist on for reasons of pride alone.
When they can better control their snark and disrespectful tones, speak plainly and not in foreign languages in conversations where others cannot understand I might reconsider.
Until then I will not.

They, in turn, are unhappy about that meeting. I went to pursue this and that just a little while ago, and I've discovered my worries were justified - about my oratory skills, that is. It seems we very strongly projected that we were dismissing them and simply substituting our own ritual, which is something I'll rectify when I have a chance to sit down, transcribe what was discussed, and submit a few suggestions.
We devised our idea on limited resources - you, me, and our power. They came up with their ritual in a very similar way. So let's sit back, breathe, and look at our resources together - because I was very serious. We aren't enemies. We both want this to work, and if Izereth manages to wedge between us, or our pride does, we're going to have a much harder time of it than if we forgave each other for what happened yesterday.

I have worked long and hard to forge the alliance we have with the Wildwalkers, they may be different from us and we do not agree on all things. But, we are no better off alone without allies in the world. As Maire says, we need to work on better ourselves and work together. Else we simply play into the hand of Izereth, who has already taken so much.
Remember, an alliance is not easy. As the dawn always rises, we also rise to face the challenges set before us. If we see someone being misguided, we should reach out our hand and aid them back towards the light, not punish and damn them from ever seeing another dawn.
