Peace Talks

Words spread across the Kingdom, that Queen Kestrel has reached an agreement with the King of Cormyr. No longer shall Arabellans cower in fear as their skirt along the King's Forest, and those who lost their home in Collinwood are soon able to return. Cormyrian goods will no longer count as contrabands, whilst it will still be stupid to wear the uniform and colours of another nation. Trade shall flourish, and Collinwood shall become a neutral ground between the two nations. All will benefit from this recent development, but most of all will the border towns Immersea and Eveningstar.

Whilst a mere shadow of its former glory, the two neighboring nations of Arabel and Cormyr were stunned as the King of Cormyr gifted Queen Kestrel the Stag Steads land and mansion. An heirloom of House Goldfeather, dating back from the earliest establishment of the kingdom of Arabel. Seized a long time ago by the War Wizards themselves, which could never tame the wards which were laid there by House Goldfeather, as long it was left alone whilst the King's Forest slowly reclaimed it.
Rumours has it, that a greater power is what kept Cormyr and their wizards at bay. Whilst others say they have seen the ghost of the first Goldfeather wandering the ruins and over grown garden. Whispers also speak of a fabled Ghost Stag, with immense power stalking the area and slaying any hunters daring too close of a look. Whatever the case, its unlikely the Queen will visit herself any time soon. But to be gifted such a mansion, of great importance in the very heart of the King's Forest, well that is a bit unexpected. Then again, even the King of Cormyr has become enthralled with Queen Kestrel's beauty. Which displeases King-Consort Matrim greatly..

Escorted by Sir Myrkyr, the Queen pays a visit to Eveningstar to investigate the recent troubles that haunts the land. The royal visit is celebrated by the Bishop with fanfare, with the Queen and her children blessed with the light of Lathander. Finally it all wraps up with Sir Myrkyr and the Queen retiring in Collinwood, in preparation for another visit from the King of Cormyr. Focusing on how Arabel can ensure Cormyrian trades safety across its land, especially considering the trouble shadowing the edges of Eveningstar at the moment.
