Ninga looting in the elven text thing
-
I will throw in my view on the matter -based on what i've read-. I seems to me a dm tried to inspire conflict and create even more fun on what seemed to be a fun event.
It backfired because of mistakes on part of both the dm in question (who has admitted he made a mistake) and players in question (who have also admitted the same).
The best of intentions CAN go wrong and everyone who feels wronged should take comfort in the fact that those they feel wronged by have apologized and admitted a mistake. It does not get better than that, we all make mistakes but we do not all have the balls to step up and apologize for it, this should be respected.
Now the matter remains to be adult enough to accept the apology and talk to one another, get over this mistake, learn from it and continue.

Apologies accepted [despite I wasn't there <_<]
Lets all play and concentrate on lvling me up and giving me lewtz ..
FUN FUN FUN

Oh I am sorry, the DM's tried to start a conflict that people have been beating around the bush about for a hella long time… Boo hoo. No super lewt for you! Because your character actually fell for the diversion? Hell, I would've laughed at myself If my character didn't have the brains to say 'Move out the way Mage, We got here first'. Simple enough? Stop beating around the bush to stall conflict cause you want to reach levul tin and gain enough Phat Lewtz to win any PvP.
Learn from past mistakes. Don't QQ and quit because you didn't get loot. Either way, the DM's did what they did. Yes in some cases i hate it too when a DM has the attitude that they know better then the player base. In this case, they were making more fun (Or trying) for the server... Either way, if your that pissed off about something, do something about it. I had a character steal some Plot changing item from the MG once. Ended up messing up a lot of people's plots... Don't remember people Ragequitting from that.
Honestly, Tl;DR, like it's been stated many times already.
Don't get so attached to winning. Less OOC QQ, More IC Pew Pew
