Potential councillor: Jace
-
Although not a full artificer yet and therefore not guaranteed a seat he is an apprentice of the Mossmeres.
He seems keen on being a councillor.
Sir Pierre
-
Is being keen the requirement for a seat on the council?
Joking aside, can we get a list of his meritous achievements so we can consider this?
I can give an alternate list and we can compare.

- Allied with a Thayan.
- Has been an apprentice forever. First to one of the seekers (who achieved nothing regarding the Beholder threat and didn't even trust HIM with their keys...) and now to Radella Mossmere (a significant upgrade, admittedly) - clearly can't handle taking control themselves.
- Disturbed and robbed a graveyard riling up a dragon spirit resulting in the endangering of several citizens, including a knight of the realm.
- His pet ooze is disgusting.
- Wrecklessly linked himself to another mage (endangering their life) while bumbling a spell.
- Lied about House Mossmere inviting someone to rob them, to try and cover up the embarrassment.
- Was "Mayor" of a town of Bhaal, a god of murder - everyone there is dead.

Most of these points you bring up are pointless, I say that because Jace wasn't the only one doing them. There were multiple people involved. Are you implying that your own sister was reckless in trying to aid him with a ritual? That your friend who participated in raiding the graveyard is innocent of doing so? Most people tend to lie when they are ashamed about something. That's not an excuse, but it happens. What is the point about him being allied with the Thayan? I've talked to her about threats to the realm and she has better ideas than several mages in the realms. The ooze may be disgusting, but what bearing does that have against him? This just appears like you don't like wizards, seeing as you've named two specifically here but conveniently left your sister out of it.

It's pretty well known I don't like wizards.
Anyway, once his list of meritous achievements are up here I can probably make the same argument, if such things exist.

You can. But my point is, you can't blame one person when things fail. We all have our successes and failures. However what I don't see, is that each counselor make a list of successes or failures. At least he's willing to try. I've worked with him multiple times dealing with threats around the realm. Who has succeeded so far cleansing Hillmarch and other areas in the realm? No one, yet many have tried. To sit here and say he has failed to deal with the beholder problem, he may have so far. But how many have tried to actually fix it? Are the Precept going there and working on a solution? Because if not, then you have failed. I have failed. Because if we can't work together to achieve the end goal, then all of us have failed.

Jaces meritorious deeds.
Led an assualt with Ravens on a drow infernalist and Demon near the Stonelands.
Performed a ritual to create a ward protecting against acid to assist combat the Purple Worm
Certainly more than Elora
Sir Pierre
-
I wasn't here when Elora was elected.
It is a merit seat, so should require merit.
That list looks a bit... sparse
-Izererth.
-
Well there was the recovering dragon bone for the benefit of the city however you are holding that against him.
Sir Pierre

Dame Drakebane wishes a list of accomplishments that shows commitment to the kingdom and the people this council was established to serve.
Twelve council clerk
Office of Dame Saga Drakebane -
I gotcha

- Aided a Precept member, by offering his own life essence to make a potion to save her mother.
- Banished a demon and incinerated a drow infernalist.
- Destroyed a village of bhaalists cultists.
- Cured a number of individuals from a dragon lich curse.
- Destroyed said dragon lich.
- Aiding in removing the purple worm near Tilverton.
- Performed a ritual to ward Deadwell. It was successful on a small scale, and he's working on expanding that. Then Deadwells undead would be trapped and not attack nearby settlements. //OOC: The DM running this plot is currently away, so it has stalled.
