The Plague of the Murrain
-
The King's edict is quite clear.
If he doesn't foreswear the Murrain, he shall be hunted down and killed.
And he shall not receive a council of 12 position.
- Clerk Johnson
-
P.S:
The High Council is presently pretending there is no shrine of Talona in Tilverton. Ergo, the city doesn't recognize his claim to being a ranking member of Talona's Clergy.
- Clerk Robinson
-
How about we just put them in some form of debt to the city for the damage the plague caused and have them work it off?
It's not like there aren't numerous threats they could be pointed at.

Has anyone got any other Ideas?
If not I suggest we just go with the penal service.
If no one chips in by tomorrow I'll announce it.
Pierre of the Black Chalice

Penal service is acceptable. Force them to make amends for their crimes by serving the people they harmed, and put their feet onto the path towards the Light. I've already taken personal steps towards such, as I won right of demand through duel. The redeeming light of Lathander shines even in the darkest of corners, but sometimes the afouled must be forced to take those first steps.

Agreed.

Seems a fair few of us are in agreement.
I have a fair few ideas they could work on.
They have powerful druids, They could aid with Hillmarch defeating the planar beings and helping locate the elementals needed for Misas wardings.
As Talonites they could work on a deadly ritual to kill the thralls of the beholders in the Helmlands.
Pierre of the Black Chalice
-
I suppose we should put this to a vote though
Regulations to be followed and all
Pierre of the Black Chalice
-
These are the same group who have murdered several people, yes?
-Sunny
-
They killed a spy the House of the Morning had sent into their ranks, had a case of mistaken idenity with another Lathanderite and killed an enemy soldier during a war who was then raised from the dead.
These have since been pardoned by the House of the Morning since the war has ended
This however concerns them making amends for the plague golem that wandered towards the city and made people sick and a few died.
I believe Penal service to make amends is the best option here

The suggestion from the House of the Morning, is that they focus their efforts into lifting the curse of Deadwell. As priests and druids, with a capable swordsman to support them, they should have the proper intersection of skills to do real good in that region, and spare the town of Bospir imminent doom.

I have briefly spoke with Evelyn on this.
She suggests South Horn would be acceptable as well.
However the Royal Majesties have declared the planar breach and beholders to be pressing threats
Pierre of the Black Chalice
-
The South Horn is an area I have personal ambition to cleanse, and would support wholeheartedly.
The Aster have pledged their unconditional support in the efforts to close the planar breach, but if that is to be the choice, I will let those spearheading the effort speak for their own cause.

I'm in favor of having them complete some service that aids the kingdom. Whether it's aiding with Deadwell and the undead presence, or helping us deal with the demon incursions and this Lady of Bells.

The King's position on the matter has not changed.
Clerk Pinwell
-
Well
It is quite clear no adventurers would hunt them, Any trying on the Dukes lands would be subject to Tilvertons laws and punished harshly
We of Tilverton have no desire to extradite them while the city harbours the bloody baker and refuses to take steps to prevent her from attacking the Dukes lands and interests again
Therefore the penal service is the only way I see for the city to gain something from this
Pierre of the Black Chalice
-
If that's the King's position, then let the King deal with it.
-DawnHammer Argun the Strong
-
Looks like the vote passed.
I'll make the announcement later.
I think the most pressing thing is the Hillmarch mines, followed by the beholder hive and Saughin around immersea.
