The Doom Knight
-
We encountered the Doom Knight again, after performing a divination upon a book in Igrezor's possession we thought may have ties to the "Lady of Bells" Suubra of the Twelfth Dimbrand, upon completion of the ritual we found the book was created under her gaze.
The Doom Knight arrived with an army of the damned, and entered the battle with blade in hand. The Knight appears to covet the Book in Igrezor's possession, but was unable to detect it's presence. It threatened our souls if the book was not to be given to him.
We of course refuse, the books is bound by Netherese magic a strange matter considering the books age is only a few hundred years. This does however date the "Lady of Bells", who I believe is using the Knight as a proxy to deal with us.
The book is to not be used, or the wardings undone. The Netherese warn it to be "Forbidden Architectural Knowledge", considering the efforts they have gone to ward it from detection and access to it's contents. It would be best to leave it be.

@acemvi said in Ikaros Things:
Runjur attacked Bospir last night. He lead a horde of undead from the Deadwell and claimed "the city has fallen." Byron, Riorin, and Sunny along with an unknown woman fought them off.
Kyla and Radella Mossmere later appeared. The latter suggested Runjur may be a doom knight, a fallen paladin, but that seems... unlikely. He's a tiefling. Might be getting corpses from a plane.
More red mist from the Deadwell, a voice that said, "Deadwell should be left to the dead and those who were once such."

Lady Rodella Mossmere and myself encountered the Doom knight last eve, we spoke at length and it would seem the man is indeed a fallen Paladin of sorts. The creature, as it has lost of semblance of it's humanity, teleported upon us after we dispatched it's army of dead. It seems aware of our presence, or more likely the Lady of Bells is offering it our location by proxy.
Avoid speaking it's name, there is something at work here.
