The council of 12 peers has elected against my vote to accept an emmissary of Tilverton onto its council, the influencer in this issue was E.C. Blythe.
I do not know the man or his proffession but he is seemingly a sycophant to Tilverton, i feel that he will always side with their benefits in any issue and with only a wildwalker who has no real stake within the city as the only other voice this may be a problem.
I intend to try to recruit more goodly folk to the council that it becomes a force for good in the city.

Unfortunately, this was the subtle will of the King who wishes to improve relationship with Tilverton, in the hopes he can allay Duke Obyn's ambition by conceding on other points...
All we can do is thwart their political objectives as best we can.

I have now met this person, they are a young naive mage that seems more interested in the necromantic effects of a ring worn by one of their companions than in combatting the evils that beset our region.
I will attempt to learn more about this ring myself, but the owner (a wildsman i think) was reluctant to have any examine it.

Mages, in all my travels I have found one that I trust. Most are too blinded by knowledge to see what lays around them. Learn all you can so we know the evil that festers. Sometimes a door needs to be opened with a boot to let the light in, so remain steadfast.
