Just because this seems to need bumping for... some reason.

Don't use weapons or hostile spells on other players in front of "blue" NPCs without a DM overseeing it (not just logged in, you have to know the DM is there watching the situation - ask them, get a response)

Fist fights are ok.
Duels in arena areas are ok.

Anything else at all, is metagaming the NPC's ( You know they won't react due to mechanics, or, you assume their reactions would be nothing - you cannot play the NPCs ) and has indirect (and often direct) effects on other players, therefore, is cheating.

Cheating is a bannable offence.

Don't do this.
