Abyssal Spider

Of recent days Lucy the bardess has spoke with spiders who speaks common tongue in the smuggling tunnels. Attempting to feed them and giving them information they need not know, This report will be that of which I witnessed...
A sending was made in regards to the spider after I finished cleaning out the ant nest with the help of others. After we gathered at the faceless, we made way for the smuggling tunnels. During this time Lucy seemed uneased by the thought of me slaying such evil, she ran ahead of our group most of the time which did cause suspicion. Once arriving inside the tunnels, a strange musical humming was heard. It seemed more than music as if an attack on the mind but I remained true. Not long after we are in the deep caverns below the smuggling tunnels and Lucy still ahead of us. Eventually with caution we had caught up to witness her offer it trolls blood. Once the evil had spotted me and my armor illuminating a bright light it spoke of it's fear of the light and crawled into a dark abyss. The same abyss I peered into had much more than the largest spider I've come to witness but had something else shifting, a force of many that would cost too much to overcome. Tentacles of darkness then reached out and lashed at me but the light protected me and such was the least of my concern. Lucy and some others were mad at me for scaring it away with thy presence. She and Faryn threw insult at not just I but that which I represent for such events unfolding. We disputed, I told them we must return or we risked far too much but they remained. Remained not to slay such evil but to find comfort in it. I could not lose them and so we argued. The tormite Topher defended their stance on such matters while Dextar attempted to persuade them otherwise. Eventually we did leave, events unfolding that I will continue in a more relevant file. Arriving at the sewers, a great number of spiders attacked us after punishments for the insults were concluded.

Lucy may be controlled by this spider. And if not, would be wise not to stand in my way while I see evil gone from this world.

Adventurers spoke of spiders maybe leaving the hullack. It either joins forces with that which hid or something may have caused them to leave and should be investigated.

I made a worthy attempt for peace with Lucy and others. I know nothing more honorable than such and it was declined, at least by her.

Something else is in this abyss the spider sought safety in. Something Evil.

While looking for signs of the vampire I ran into the spider in the caves attached to the sewers. It was afraid of the light. I fought it and we were evenly matched, then some thing inside the spider moved. It was stronger then but eventually the spider burst and out crawled a spider thing with an eel for a head. I fought that until it ran away into the dark. The giant spider is dead. But the thing inside hides in those tunnels.
