This was delivered to the Palace today.
It seems a new evil is upon the land, one that is bold enough to confront us directly.

Perhaps this is "The Necromancer" which has been plaguing the land in recent days? This, "Reaper?"
We ought to gather what information we can on this cult before we respond to the letter.

Whilst the demands are minor, I am curious why they wish sheep sacrificed. Seems an oddly specific choice.

I fed two sheeps with plenty of food, planted dozens of Tymoran coins around Bospir, then finally I hung garlic and clover on the entrances. Topped off with a poem and sending.

I'd say ask the priests of Cyric, since this pretender is trying to muscle in, but
teologods and religion have been something I've not really paid much attention to.If nothing else, call them out and drop some holy hammers on 'em. Catch whoever is part of this cult and -make- them tell us where to find their main stronghold and blitz it.
Death is a thing, sure. We don't need some wanna be pretender trying to be all edgy and act like it's something scary.

Nihlos "The Reaper" Carver, was seen on the High Road while invisible exiting the Crevice last evening. He was dangerously close to Eveningstar. Paul "The Mad" was with him, also invisible, however did not seem to be 'with' Nihlos. Tiatus and our new recruit (Awakened, her rank) met them upon the road. Tiatus instructed the Awakened to make sending for me as I was mining in Hillmarch.
I made my way quickly to the High Road and found Paul leaving from the road. He stopped immediately at my command and dismissed his summons, respecting the authority of the West.
Shortly after Tiatus, the Awakened, and Aerlalorn followed through. They stated Nihlos had escaped and they were pursuing Paul who fled instead of fight.
Paul claimed he was making his way to Eveningstar to discuss his wanted posting, as several of the offenses do not add up to his crime of Treason. He also again denied any involvement in the death of Senior Retainer Aric Polk. I met with him briefly before striking him across the face for his arrogance, and stated no parlay would occur regarding the Wanted posting, before dismissing him from the grounds of Eveningstar, stating he was still a wanted man.
The below is a report from Dawnsquire Tiatus Thornwind who pursued Nihlos as far as he could, though the creature escaped.
"More recent activities of the Death Cult and the wanted Cannibal; Paul.
After finishing the day filled with various jobs and Squire duties. I ventured on my way back to Eveningstar to end on a patrol. Upon such, I ran into the Awakened Jadzia Sunguard. She claimed the roads were clear and we parted ways. Her to Arabel and I to Eveningstar but then I thought after small distance to turn back and rest in Arabel and make the journey on a new Dawn.
Once near the borders of Arabel, the awakened encountered Nihlos Carver and I did as well shortly after. He had three skeleton warriors of elven heritage guarding his flanks. Knowing I could not win this battle alone and preferring not to have the wellness of the new awakened burdening my mind should there be conflict, I told her to leave. Immediately. I wanted to ask for help but this would startle him, cause him to then leave. This gave chance for me to stall, until more help was underway. She left and Aerlalorn coincidentally came onto the path as well. Uneasy, Nihlos made an escape. I then enchanted myself to see what was invisible and Paul Crispen came to sight. I fought long and hard against powerful magic unknown to me, in hopes to survive long enough for help. Luckily, He was lured closer towards Arabel where the Dawnknight arrived and took care of things from there. We ventured back to Eveningstar and the Dawnknight shared words with him behind guarded doors.-Dawnsquire Tiatus Thornwind"

My fellow Councilors,
This is quickly getting out of hand. We must take action!
Nihlos Carver states he will be targeting another settlement, making Bospir look like small work!
I believe it is in our best interest to ward the surrounding villages, all but one, and draw him in to a confrontation.
His new list of demands.. Are sickening! He speaks of marriage to
myto Luckbringer Ottilie!We must defend our fellow Councilors! WE MUST SLAY THIS HEATHEN!

Justice has been carried out by mine own hand,
many aided in the telling of this story, known to many of you. Aritian is avenged. Nihlos admitted to his murder in his final moments. Laurel Wildwalker, Kirin Ashenwood, Ottilie the luckbringer, and Floki Baarsden were there. Laurel, downed him.
