Much to the dismay of eager wedding planners, the proposal of the Dragon Bastard seem to have either been rejected or stalled for further negotiations. Some suggest the First Peer has already found herself a lover and potential life partner, whilst others are dead set that the First Peer is far too free spirited for such things as marriage, whilst older and wiser people suspect she probably don't want another assassin traitor for fiancée. The odd rabble rouser claims that she has already wedded him, turned her cloak and is to sell Arabel to Cormyr tomorrow.
