In the middle of the day, a rare non raining day. A sudden explosion booms across Arabel, in the aftermath smoke and flames bellows out of the rubble which is the crumbled back of the Vaylan's barracks. Reports speak of Lord and Lady Vaylan emerging largely unscratched, whilst Lady Crimson emerged bloodied with a lifeless Menna in her arms. So far most members have been accounted for, with three dead mercenaries. So far however, the missing body of Hhreth and two other members have not been found..
From the ashes, they found him.. or what was left of him. The remains were too gruesome to show to the mourning members of the Crimson Guard, a makeshift blanket laid across the various pieces and chunks which were dug out of the rubble. Shock and disbelief hung in the air, many unable to accept he was gone. But, Lord Vaylan stepped forth and spoke there among the ruins of his home, of the warm memories of Hhreth. An admirable member of the Crimson Guard, a mighty warrior and a dear friend. His life, taken away from them all too soon.
Heavily wounded by the flames and rubble, Menna still managed to pull through with the aid of the Elven Embassy. She remains weak, falling in and out of consciousness. Lady Vaylan has visited her often, holding her dear old companion's hand. Hard times are head for them all, and they must be strong.
