2). Promotion to Tower Aprentice
3). In his eyes he is destined for great things. Strong, bit not overly skilled as a warrior, he was shunned by his tribe. He wants to become as powerful in the ways of magic as he can so he can return to and take his place as chief. He knows he will always be a target from the warriors in the tribe, so he will amass a strong force of undead guards before he returns. If the chance to become a powerful sentient undead is presented to him, he would likely take that. But then would again turn to taking over the tribe.
