The Sundering of Glory & Red Mother's Annihilation

The Battle for Humanity

The angels of Glory, having already lost an Archangel to a dragon decide to make some tough choices. As opposed to facing the Red Mother on the battlefield, it is decided that their leaders shall descend to the prime to annihilate it once and for all.

Meanwhile, the cunning dragon's set a trap, knowing full well the sizable threat both the Angels & Red Mother had posed to their chances of victory...

Following the cataclysmic battle that unfolded, the Angels of Glory were cast from the prime, having completed their task of unshackling this realm of the Red Mother's threat. Despite a complete silence from the Glory, many fanatics continued to rave that they shall return...

In the wake of the events, the dragons who had sought to push for power find themselves immensely wounded by the power it took to clear the field of the Glory. As a result, they return from whence they came, to nurture their sustained wounds...

Sunrise in Arabel...

Back in Arabel, it is a new day. The tie with Glory and the gods has been severed and the commonfolk believe for the first time in a while that there is hope.

Despite all that has transpired, the city was alive with passion and excitement. Each district was bustling as the news arrived, though there was outrage in the southwest which had been controlled by the faithful of Glory...

The district quickly saw many of their supporters return to their past lives, but there still remained a zealotous faction of them, trying to hold their control over the district...

With one of the dragon kin having now claimed the Southeast as well, it seems despite the exciting promise of renewed time, there is the immediate threat of what's right outside your door...

For now, Arabellians rejoice and revel in song and dance... But on the heels of this victory, shall come a realization that the once lawful city of Arabel is now in complete disarray... and many will see it as an opportunity to seize power.

//OOC Addendum: The team apologizes for the abrupt off-screen ending of the ongoing metaplot, but due to unforeseen changes to the availability of certain team members, we are unable to continue the plot IG. We hope that this can offer some form of closure for those PCs who were heavily involved, though I do understand some will be upset by this ending.
