The Rise of Queen Venith
"All Hail To The Queen" by Kingsley Songsteel
"To Arms! To Arms!" The Knights they cried,
who marched the Eastern Roads,
With Harts of courage they did ride
To test their honored codes.
But sadly so their lives were lost
White banners charred to grey,
With dreadful screams their bodies tossed;
Once Knights, now Dragon's prey.
Peace fell once more to Eastern Land,
"Victory!" Haven Cried,
Dragon's flames culled the Knightly band
And turned the battle's tide.
One crown would rise and one would fall
That dark and dreary day,
The fearless Queen, Myrmeen of Lhal
Would prove a proud display.
She fought the beast both tooth and nail
To keep her city sound,
Her countenance would soon grow pale;
Disarmed, she fell to ground.
All hope was lost, the crown had died,
The people turned and fled,
The women wailed the children cried,
Their champion was dead
But darkness soon gave way to dawn,
The war was not yet lost
A magic staff Veneith had drawn
Turned Dragon's flame to frost.
Once more the Dragon took to Flight
For wounds she had to clean
Then common-folk cheered in delight
"All hail to the Queen!"
