Thanks, everyone

I want to say thanks to everyone involved in the Arabel / Easthaven event this evening.
Players, DMs everyone - awesome to see the server changing and shifting like this, looking forward to some awesome stuff to follow.
This is why I love playing CoA.

I've wanted this for a long time, I think this is exactly what the server needed. I'm surprised we didn't lose more people then we did, though, some parts of that battle were pretty crazy (namely fighting the Devil Dragon).
-
Great to see the server at 55/55!
-
Red Hart is going to be an AWESOME faction to be in. Jealous a bit.
-
55/55 was amazing.
The actual event itself was amazing - Great times!
-
CoA feels genuinely alive again. It’s like a G.R.R Martin book; you never know who’s safe!
Awesome event, despite the lag, and it was great to see the server at 55/55 again.
Excitement aplenty for the future of the server.

I feel like I missed something..
-
-
On one hand I am upset that I missed the event because I had to work, on the other hand I am pretty sure my character would be dead if I would have been there so I guess it almost evens out..
-
Wasn't there either. These are the kind of events I wait for!

The thing I feel is most awsome is that I don't really know who is on the Side of Arabel any more.
Red Harts are traditionally "Good" but have put their Honour and Code before the safety of the People of Arabel, so I my books they are more LN. Lawful, because they hold solidly to their Code. Neutral because they put their code before the People and the City.
Easthaven has never seemed a place for Goodness to me, yet it is they who manage time and time again to chase off the Devil Dragon. They are the victims in this having been assaulted by the Red Hart in a Mugging writ large. "We want your staff and will hit you until we get it." Yet within Eastway has been all sorts of actions that many would regard as definitely not "Good". They are now in the position of Power.
And now we have Greencastle taking on East Arabel between Queen Venieth's new Throne Room and her traditional base in Easthaven.
The big question for me is "What will happen next?" What will be the feel of the server?

Same goes for me totally. Amazing stuff.

I agree with this too.
If you've ever wanted to play a badass frontier Knight fighting for honor and justice now is the time.

I think thats the point Lamy. The Dm's sort of got rid of the "Team Arabel! Team Good!" side of the server. At least erased it from obvious eyes. Once again ambiguity has crawled out of the sewers and into the streets for everyone to deal with.

What I love is this all happened via player actions.
I was always very sceptical at v4's claim to be shaped by the players, but now I've seen it happen and it was amazing! It's amazing seeing all the Easthaven/Kreswell story playing out, and finally seeing Venieth on the throne of Arabel last night was so intensely satisfying.Go CoA!

I want your dog avatar back

That and Team Goods a joke right now
Serously, get your acts together!
