I had tried that the night of the hak release, it would do everything except the zool crap. And manually didn't work.

The fact of the matter is I shouldn't NEED IT to play.

Unlike the mission statement, and the announcement that hak's are not required leads me to believe.

I can't log on without the Zool Hak- I even broke down and tried to jam the thing in my hak file and it still doesn't work.

Why do I need it to play on COA?

COA is easy.

It's easier to get people to come to your sending if they know you are competent.

Its a catch 22 if you are and you can't show them though.
