Lately we have witnessed a phenomena of characters draining the blood from other characters' Corpses. While it is mechanically possible to do so, the team expects the players to use such a method only if they have no other way such as challenging that person themselves or hiring others to do it for them. Additionally, take note that if you do take the blood from a corpse there are the following limitations as we can track how the blood was drained:

      • Blood obtained from a corpse of a PC cannot be used in scrying.

      • Blood obtained from a corpse of a PC cannot be used in charging certain Blood Magic.

      • The DM team will not allow Blood obtained in such ways to be used in rituals or in order to curse said PC.

If you do such a thing however, you are expected to do it only after some RP has developed so that you have a reason why you took the blood. Do not take the blood off corpses of PCs you just met or never/barely RPed with. Be considerate and dont be dicks to one another, please. And if you have a way to take the blood by either challenging the PC yourself and promote conflict or either having thugs do it for you - You are obligated to take that path. That being said - The other side is also expected to roll with the punches if they believe some level or RP did took place and warranted this action.

If we keep seeing a rise to this trend we will enforce the need for a DM to be required to draw blood from a corpse or eventually disable this mechanic altogether.
