Bug Reports Via Tickets



  • In an effort to make it easier for us to fix tickets sooner and faster, I have added various components to the Ticket Submission flow. These components are very specific and will help us funnel the bugs to the correct team member. It is very important that when you come across any kind of bug, no matter how small that you report it, because you are our eyes and ears out there!

    How To Submit a Bug Ticket?

    • Open the CoA Issue Tracker

    • Select the relevant Bug Type. Mostly anything Game related will go in the Game Bug category. Please also make sure to differentiate between exploits and normal bugs. ALWAYS MARK A TICKET AS SECURITY IN CASE IT MIGHT BE SPOILERISH

    • Select the relevant component -If none of the components fit your needs, leave blank and inform us so we can consider adding it for future instances.

    • Give the Ticket a meaningful Title so that it can explain the situation in one sentence.

    • In the Description elaborate the issue as much as possible. Provide additional details if possible such as: Current Server Version, Screenshots of the issue and screenshots of Maps, Names of Areas, Names of NPCs, etc.

    If you posted bugs in the past and they werent answered and only if they are still relevant either bump them up again or open new tickets to ensure the issue gets addressed(Only bump if the ticket wasnt answered for 10+ days).

    Please also make sure to open ticket in their proper location and to set potentially spoiler/exploit as security tickets.

    If you stumble onto a Bug in Game please dont hesitate to send in a detailed Bug report - Otherwise we cant fix it. Hit the bug on the head while the issue is still hot. Few additional pointers:

    • Always try to recreate/troubleshoot and let us know what you did on those aspects as well. It will help us pinpoint the issue.

    • If the issue happened in a certain area(Even if a Quest) - Always mention the Area name.

    • Screenshots, Screenshots, Screenshots. Doing screenshots with your Mini-map open will also help immensely.

    • Please post all Bugs that happen in Game under Game(Server/Forum should be reserved for problem with your PC like not being to log in OR issues in the forums). Please also separate between Exploits and normal Bugs(Marking the ticket as security to not spoil anything)

    • Select a component that fits your issue(For example Crafting, Merchants, etc). If you see your bug doesnt have a matching component feel free to send me a PM so I can see about adding the relevant component for future cases.

    When you bug report loot not spawning in a quest, you need to be very sure to check the following:

    • Is this consistent? Does it happen every time you run the quest?
    • Are you certain no one from your group ninja looted/skimmed the contents of the chests?

    If you are not sure of one of the above posts, dont post a bug ticket about it.
