On Divulging IC information over OOC Mediums and Metagaming

Lately we had instances where players, who knew IC/OOC about some dirty secret a fellow player has, going about sharing this information freely on Curse/IRC/Tells/Other OOC Mediums to other players and in doing so ruining the character of said fellow player. We have also had instances of players Metagaming and acting on said OOC information. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated. So in case some players missed this over the hundreds of Server Rules, 10 years of playing on CoA and repeated bumping of said threads:

*** DO NOT SHARE INFORMATION YOU LEARN IC/OOC WITH OTHERS, THAT WILL BY DOING SO RUIN ANOTHER PLAYER'S CONCEPT.

• IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO BE KEPT A SECRET, KEEP IT A SECRET IC/OOC. DONT LEAVE THINGS TO CHANCE BY TELLING OTHER PLAYERS ABOUT IT AND RISKING SPOILERS.

• DO NOT ACT ON OOC INFORMATION IN ANY IC CAPACITY - GOING AGAINST THIS IS METAGAMING AND IS A BANNABLE OFFENCE.**

I am disappointed that I even have to do this sort of thing, but the DM team will monitor this with scrutiny and will start going over Curse Channel Histories/Tell and IRC Logs to ensure this is enforced.
