Merchants buying stolen goods

Merchants in the module which buy goods that others will refuse as stolen only exist as a mistake. This is because the DMs use (only) the stolen flag to prevent some items being sold to NPCs. Because they were never intended to be sold, these items may also have a very large gold value. If you find one of these merchants in the module, you should report them immediately. It is an exploit to sell items to them for their disproportionate value, and we will now be treating it as such.

I doubt this will affect new players who are not aware of the above, as these merchants are normally in less travelled areas.
