Any of you planning on going to Mars?

I'd recommend reading the Ars Technica articles before you do any in-depth reading on the official site.
Personally (I'm not applying, I have far too much to live for on the face of this planet), I'm skeptical, given the lack of apparent planning to date, but hopeful.
I applaud their pioneer spirit, in the face of overwhelming odds and mad inertia.
