Okay, I am an utter newb, and I need to become less utter. Can someone explain to me what scripting is? I'm a nerd, and it bothers me to not understand computer stuff. Por Favor?

Yes, Harry gave it in his links. I was just adding that you can also find most functions simply by searching on the internet.
I will add this here since: yeah it takes less space in this form.

If you want to learn how to script, I also reccommend looking at a few tutorials on how to program using C++. It's very similar to the NwN scripting language, and learning about loops and functions and the syntax will help a lot!
