Adieu from the DMing chair

Only been back a short while, but it's become apparent that DMing really isn't something I have the time and dedication to commit to, which are two factors you need an abundance of when wearing the magic hat and robes.
It’s not fair on the players or the other DMs to have someone flitting about not really contributing to the server, and who is honestly more interested in doing things from the player side than behind the DM client.
So as a result that’s what I’ll be doing from now on, being a player. No DM forum access, no DM tools, no secret DM room on IRC, nothing.
I’m not going to go shouting about which characters I’ll be playing, because some people still have the misconception that ex DMs have an easier time than normal players. In fact it’s the opposite, ex DMs are expected to be able to do more and get more done without any help. If you find out it’s me (which will be obvious to some) all well and good, I look forward to playing with my friends and getting back to really getting stuck in to the server again.
The only thing I do have on other people is knowing some of what’s going to be coming on CoA, and you should all be very, very excited. The current brilliant crop of DMs have been working tirelessly to set up the future of CoA behind the scenes and the future is certainly bright.
