Nerf because it -could- be abused, or free creativity?

@The:
There is no desire from the DM team to make CoA a Carebear server.
What a relief

Really. we have a long history of nerfing things because a lot more players are asshats than you think and it became necessary to remove these OP temptations so DMs had time to DM and not police obvious abuse of things.
The disarm script was put in about 4000 years ago to keep people from disarming their pixie familiars and obtaining +2 daggers every rest and obtaining 12,000 gold per day. It was not initially scripted to work with PCs as their weapons were to drop. Then you can deal with taking a round to pick it up and a round to rearm it which is within the rules.
This is a minor aside and should not represent the playerbase as a whole: Play -7GMT - west coast US when there is no DM about 99% of the time and see what people come up with. I'd rather when there's a DM in game they don't have to check in on who's using OP summons to roll up to lvl 10 in 3 days. If the only options is to adjust the power of spells and items to keep people on a reasonably level playing-field then so be it.

Pretty sure the disarm script hasnt worked like it did when I tested it a while ago.
There was a character called Maragash, a werewolf, that used imp disarm in were-form to take peoples weapons, as far as I'm aware. Granted, he never did it to me, so I dont -know- for a fact.
Just sorta seems silly to make a feat thats an alternative to boring Knockdown, AND something colourful like unarmed fighting, weaker than using a greataxe and knockdown.

Look, Gimp, please, give this a break!
No one has nerfed Imporved Disarm to spite you!
If it's not working as intended, a DM will fix it.
